Currently, the Event Capacity setting can be used to set daily Camp registration limits while the Roster Maximum can be used to limit the amount of total registered customers. Accordingly, a customer may join (or be added) to the waitlist ONLY when the Roster Maximum is reached.
Yet, if multiple customers choose to register for only one day of Camp, the Roster Maximum will be reached before the Event Capacity for each day is filled (Example: 15 different customers register for each day of Camp, reaching the Roster Maximum of 75 but not the daily Event Capacity of 30). As such, customers have to join the Camp Waitlist even though there are open registration spots. Although this problem may be fixed by increasing the Roster Maximum, customers do not have the option of joining a Waitlist for a specific day that has reached the Event Capacity.
Allowing customers to join a Waitlist for a day that has reached the Event Capacity (rather than Roster Maximum), not only allows customers to wait for an opening on their desired day(s). But also, this change would create a more accurate Waitlist that keeps track of daily Camp enrollment rather than total Camp enrollment/roster size.
