Q. What’s the process to switch look like?
We’ll gather some information from you via our registration form where you’ll also schedule a time to sign the new merchant app that has no obligations and no early termination fees.
During the 30-min call we’ll go over your complete savings, any junk fees you have on your current statements, the hardware you’ll need and sign the merchant app.
Your application will go to underwriting which can take 1-4 days on average to be approved.
Once approved, your hardware will take 2-3 business days to reach your facility, after which we schedule a quick 10-min call to show you how to process a payment in Dash.
Q. What are the security concerns related to the Paypal Gateway?
Cards can be easily compromised by malware on your host stations when swiping cards using swipers. For example, open notepad and swipe a card. You’ll see that all card data is completely unencrypted and if there were any malware on that computer, that software could easily steal the card data by listening to the USB device’s keystrokes. New devices will encrypt the card data on the device before sending it to your computer.

Q. Can I keep my existing great merchant rates?
Yes! Dash has always been an advocate in the murky credit card industry and helped our customers find the best rates. Dash Payments will match your current rates and remove any junk fees you are currently paying.
Q. Do I have to switch?
Yes. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t make sense to continue to support PayPal. The risk and liability of processing unencrypted cards for our customers are too great.
Q. How long is the contract?
Dash believes in 100% customer satisfaction. With Dash Payments, you can cancel your contract anytime with no early termination fees.
Q. What are Junk fees?
Junk fees come in all different names and forms. Most of the time you’re paying for something that is meaningless or isn’t a cost to the merchant provider(Admin Fee, Security Fee, OMNI Shield Fee... etc.) Many times processors will auto add optional products that you won’t even know you’re being billed for.
Q. What does it cost to switch?
Less than what you’re currently paying. You’ll receive the same great rates you currently have minus any junk fees. On average, this will save customers $1,100 per year in gateway and merchant fees.
