The Matrix Report will allow you to see how the League Scheduler will create the week-by-week game matrix. Teams are sorted alphabetically by name (with the first then being "Team 1", etc) and then matchups are always set the same for a given number of teams and games. There is a slight variation if double headers are played (for odd numbers of teams). For example, in an 12 game league with 9 teams and no doubleheaders, Team 1 always plays Team 8 in Week 1. This information can be valuable when trying to schedule a season before all the teams have been set and it becomes necessary to schedule the 1st week by hand. In order to control which teams play in Week 1 (and beyond) temporarily rename teams with names like "0001 - Rangers", "0002 - Fleet Feet", etc.
By using doubleheaders, you can condense the season into the same number of weeks as you have games.
