The Cash Register page allows you to add a variety of Point of Sale type of products such as rental fees, food and drink items, and soft goods.
This page can be organized in "Groups" so the User/Employee can easily find the product they need to add to the shopping cart.
Organizing the Cash Register Page:
You can add or reorganize the Cash Register Sections for the entire company via the Cash Register Admin page.
To access the Cash Register Admin page go to Settings > Financial section > Cash Register. Or start typing "Cash Register" in the global search bar.
- Type in a New Section name and hit "Save".
- Drag and Drop the Sections in the order you want them displayed. Hit "Save" when you are finished organizing.
The Cash Register will layout the Sections in rows of three.
Adding Product to Cash Register Sections:
If you want your product accessible from the Cash Register page you can manage this setting from the "Location Settings" section in the Product Set-up page. If the product has already been set up for the Location you are looking at, you can select that location and choose the Cash Register Section to place the product under.
If the product has not been set up yet in a Location, you will need to set the Location, Price, and the Cash Register Section.
There is an option to place this product on any of your Cash Register Sections. It defaults to "Select" which means it will not display.
